Jonathan founded AMR:SC in 2019 to provide real estate industry clients with strategic investment underwriting, advisory and fractional C-Level management services. He has advised on the investment of ~$20B in allocated capital, overseen $4.5B in real assets and most recently sourced strategic corporate joint ventures for a private Colorado based investment firm resulting in ~$375M AUM. Since 1998, he has provided asset and development management services to some of the largest global pension funds, family offices, and private developers resulting in the development of 27,000 lots, 12,500 single-family homes, 6,700 multifamily units, and 1.5 million SF of industrial space. He has also served in fraction C-level rolls for numerous private real estate and investment firms as a Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Strategy Officer and EVP of Development.
Over a 28-year career as a real estate professional, investment executive and developer, Jonathan has also been providing consulting and management services to the real estate industry overseeing the full life cycle of investments including sourcing, underwriting/due diligence, development, construction, asset management, and disposition. Notable clients include California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS), Los Angeles County Employees Association (LACERA), IHP Capital Partners, Madison Ventures Plus, Alamitos Land Company, Cargill, Conexant Systems, Apollo Global Management and Morgan Stanley.
Jonathan holds an MBA from Chapman University, a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning (MCRP) from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and a BA degree in Political Science. He served as an adjunct professor at Chapman University School of Business, an Advisory Board member at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (College of Architecture and Design) and currently serves on multiple Boards and Investment Committees for privately held companies.
